I bought this as a Floridian headed to Wisconsin in February for a week-long work trip. I was so nervous about how cold I would be! It was PERFECT. I wore it over a thin long-sleeve shirt and was comfortable with just that during the dryer days. When it was a bit more blustery or damp I would layer a hoody or jacket over it and was comfortable the whole time. I pretty much kept it on the highest temp I could keep it the whole time, which led to the battery dying more quickly. If I lived in a climate where I would wear it more often I would invest in a second battery to keep myself cooking for a longer period of time.A word of advice: if you find yourself at the airport in Wisconsin and can’t fit your souvenir state-shaped cheese in your carrry-on, maybe reconsider putting it in the pocket of your new Venustas Heated Vest. I landed in Florida and put my hand in my pocket only to come back with some melted wax and soft cheese. The red wax on the white material was a bit of a challenge to clean up!
